Heidi Johnson joined Abernathy, Roeder, Boyd & Joplin, P.C., in July of 1988 as Richard Abernathy’s paralegal supporting his practice in business and commercial litigation, municipalities and school districts, as well as mediations, and only left the firm in January 2000 following the birth of her twins in September 1999. She resumed working part-time for Richard and then for Rebecca Brewer in March 2006 and continues as support for Rebecca and Betty Cooper in the municipal law section. Heidi graduated from Austin College in Sherman with BA’s in History and English in May 1984 and earned her Paralegal Certificate in December 1987 from Southwestern Paralegal Institute in Houston, with honors.
